Purpose of the course Cave and Technical Cave Diver

Cave and Technical Cave Diver this program is designed to train divers in safe cave penetration diving and the technical use of EANx mixtures for cave exploration and the use of EANx and pure oxygen mixtures for decompression.

Entry Requirements

In combined training, as an entry level, the diver is qualified as an Introductory Cave Diver with a minimum of 50 logged dives. In the absence of this qualification, the diver must submit at least 100 logged dives or have sufficient technical dive experience to demonstrate to the instructor the trainee’s ability to continue at this level.
When taking a course using a rebreather, the candidate must have 25 dives with a current time of 35 hours using the rebreather.
For the Technical Cave (Technical Diver) introductory course in addition to #1, the student must be an EANx or Advanced EANx Diver or equivalent experience or training as required by the instructor.
The minimum age is 18 years old.
