Dive the Atlantic Princess Wreck and Bayahibe Reef

Join us for an unforgettable underwater adventure in the Dominican Republic! Explore the fascinating Atlantic Princess Wreck and the vibrant Bayahibe Reef on this two-tank dive excursion.

Dive 1: Atlantic Princess Wreck

Descend to the shallow waters where the Atlantic Princess rests. This former East German cruise ship, originally named Seebad Warnemuende, was built in 1961 by the Edgar Andre shipyard in Magdeburg-Rothensee. It served various routes in East Germany and Sweden before being decommissioned in 1993. In 1995, it was reborn as the Atlantic Princess, a pleasure boat offering cruises in the Arcachon basin in France. After a long journey, it met its fate in the Dominican Republic during Tropical Storm Fay in 2008. Now, explore its decks, cabins, and passageways, adorned with colorful corals and sponges. Encounter schools of fish, curious crustaceans, and maybe even a glimpse of larger pelagic species.

Dive 2: Bayahibe Reef

Immerse yourself in the vibrant ecosystem of the Bayahibe Reef. This protected marine sanctuary boasts an abundance of coral formations, teeming with tropical fish. Glide through crystal-clear waters, marvel at the kaleidoscope of colors, and discover the hidden treasures of this underwater paradise.
