Ship wreck tech diving

The 80-meter dry cargo ship “Ship of the wreck of St. George” was sunk off the coast of Bayahibe in the mid-80s of the last century. The vessel is still in excellent condition – the tween deck and cargo deck are open, it is firmly on the ground and has become a haven for numerous marine life.
This is a real ship wreck tech diving !
An underwater tour of the ship takes place at a depth of up to 35-40 meters and takes about thirty minutes, during which we will see the propeller of the ship, enter the engine room, aft superstructure and visit the captain’s bridge. Therefore, the level of training of divers should not be lower than AOWD.

Oleg Shevchuk says

St. George is the largest wreck (scuttled ship) in the Dominican Republic. It is well preserved and impresses with its size. A sort of Dominican Titanic. I highly recommend this tour, you won’t regret it!

The second dive will be on the wreck, which is twenty minutes by sea along the coast – “Atlantic Princess wreck ship”. At a shallow depth – no more than 12 meters – a pleasure ship has been perfectly preserved on a coral bed. During the dive, we explore all the holds of the ship.
