Purpose of the course Open Water and Open Water EANx Instructor
The program is designed to train qualified IANTD Open Water or Open Water EANx Instructors.
IANTD Dive Master or higher or equivalent.
IANTD Deep Diver or equivalent.
IANTD CPR or equivalent.
IANTD First Aid or equivalent.
IANTD Oxygen Administrator or equivalent (First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Administrator may be run in conjunction with the program, but training hours are not considered necessary).
EANx Diver with proof of a minimum of 10 dives on EANx to be able to teach EANx as an instructor.
If the program is run in a sidemount configuration, then the candidate must also qualify as an IANTD Open Water Sidemount Diver.
The Divemaster, Dive Supervisor or Assistant Instructor programs may be run in conjunction with the IDP and 40 hours may be counted towards the minimum IDP hours. A Divemaster, Dive Supervisor or Assistant Instructor certification must be issued prior to visiting the IDE.
Age at least 18 years old.
