Purpose of the course Side Mount Diver
Familiarize divers with the mental preparation, technique and equipment required for sidemount diving.
To teach divers how to correctly assemble and use diving equipment in a side-mount configuration

Entry Requirements
IANTD Open Water Diver qualification or equivalent.
Age at least 18 years old.
At least 15 years of age with parental or guardian permission.
Between the ages of 10 and 14, divers are awarded the Junior Sidemount Diver certification, which allows them to dive under the supervision of an adult with an OW Sidemount Diver level or higher.
