Purpose:

The Rescue Diver course covers a wide range of topics, including:

• Self-Rescue: Techniques for managing personal emergencies, such as air depletion, entanglement, and equipment malfunctions.
• Buddy Rescue: Recognizing and responding to signs of distress in other divers, providing assistance, and bringing them safely to the surface.
• First Aid for Diving Accidents: Administering oxygen, managing injuries, and performing CPR if necessary.
• Emergency Management: Coordinating rescue efforts, contacting emergency services, and managing the scene.

Entry Requirements:

To enroll in the Rescue Diver course, you must:

• Be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
• Be at least 12 years old (Junior Rescue Diver) or 15 years old (Rescue Diver).
• Hold a current certification in first aid and CPR.
